Why Walking Together Matters: Join “Friends Who Walk” This Summer in Thornbury

Looking to move your body, meet new people, and enjoy the beauty of Thornbury? Friends Who Walk is your new favourite weekly tradition — and you’re invited.

What is Friends Who Walk?
Hosted by Lemonade Collective, Friends Who Walk is a free, community walking group that meets every Thursday at 9:15am throughout the summer. Whether you’re walking solo, with a friend, or pushing a stroller, you’ll find good company, fresh air, and friendly conversation every step of the way.

Where We Meet
Walks start at Lemonade Collective (190 Russell Street East (behind the Beaver Valley Community School). The route is approachable, scenic, and perfect for all ages and fitness levels.

Why Walk With Us?

  • Connection – It’s easier to meet new people when you’re moving in the same direction.

  • Consistency – A weekly walk helps build routine, accountability, and healthy habits.

  • Community – There’s something powerful about knowing you’re not walking alone.

Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome. No membership, no commitment, no sign-up — just show up and stroll with us. We love seeing parents with strollers, friends catching up, and individuals looking to start their Thursday off on a positive note.

Let’s Make Movement Social
At Lemonade Collective, we believe fitness should feel good — physically, emotionally, and socially. Friends Who Walk isn’t about speed or distance. It’s about connection, consistency, and making life a little sweeter, together.
